Welcome
We are a small and friendly Pre-School and Out of School Club currently operating from our new purpose built building within the woodland grounds of Gravenhurst Lower School, just a short drive from Campton and Shefford and only 10 minutes from Ampthill. The Pre-School benefits from small group sizes and enclosed garden allowing access to free flow play.
We are run by a committee of enthusiastic parents, fantastic play leader and assistants who ensure that our children are learning through play.
In January 2010 we were inspected by Ofsted and for the 3rd time in a row we were judged as outstanding. Our thanks go to all the staff who made this possible as it is quite an achievement.
Children are welcome from 2 years 6 months to 5 years for the preschool (Pippins) and up to 12 for the out of school club (Bramleys).
We are able to offer wrap-around care from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday during term time, using long standing core staff to create a secure and stimulating environment.
We filter both Gravenhurst (www.gravenhurst.co.uk), and Campton (www.campton.beds.sch.uk) Lower Schools. Transport is available during various times for wrap around care and parents without transport wishing to use the Pre-school.
All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible to receive nursery education funding until they reach statutory school age (the first term following their 5th birthday). Each child is able to claim up to 5 sessions each week (to a maximum of 38 weeks per year). If you wish to receive funding however, your child must be enrolled at the beginning of the term. Where space is available your child may if you wish attend more than 5 sessions per week at an additional cost.
